Long Time

Wow! So it has been quite a while since I have posted! I have been very busy with my time. So sorry it has been a while since I have done ANYTHING. I guess there must not be anything too exciting write about either. I don't even have cool pictures to post. I'll have to make a "random" post like everyone else does once in a while. So this is what I have been up to lately: School, work, my calling, and homework. NON STOP that is! School has started in full swing! I have projects after projects in 2 out of 3 classes. It doesn't seem like that many, but it adds up when you have to do projects and not "paper" homework if you know what I mean. My favorite class and probably the most helpful class to my major is Typography and Layout 1. It is a lot of work, but it's going to be a challenge! For my second assignment in this class, we have to design a layout that has a good texture by just using type. I thought it was only going to take me an hour to do 10, BUT it took me 4 hours! We had to draw the font as good as we could! So time consuming. I will have to show you the final project when i get it done! Sorry that's all I have to say, boring I know..... I told you so!

Happy Birthday Elder Summerhays!

Happy 20th Birthday Elder Summerhays! He is a really good friend of mine. He is on a mission in Macon, GA mission. He will have been out a year on November 7th. He wanted me to post a few pictures of him so I just thought it would be a great idea to do it for his birthday! :) For those of you who don't know Mike, he is a really neat guy! He has such an awesome personality! I am pretty sure that he can be friends with anyone! These are just a few pictures of what he did on one of his P-days.

Lava Hot Springs

I should not have added this one last because it is now the first one! Yeah we ate candy!
Mollie blowing up her tube! It took forever to blow them up!

And of course, Me being a dork!

Jenni and Mollie showing off our awesome cabin!

I'll have to put more pictures on when I get them from Jenni and Mollie. ENJOY!
This past Monday and Tuesday I went to Lava Hot springs with Jenni and Mollie for a little trip before life gets wild with school and all. We stayed in this really nice cabin right in town. I cannot believe how nice this place is for Lava Hot Springs! When we first got there, we put on our swimming suits and blew up our tubes to go float down the river! It was so much fun! I have never done it on a single tube before. We all fell off at one point of floating the river. I got scrapes on my fingers that won't stop stinging! :) and a big nasty bruise on my leg.
After we floated the river... oh wait! Jenni lost the key to the car so we had to figure that one out! Luckily she had a spare at the cabin so we didn't even have to break into her car for that! We then went to the pool and just floated on our tubes and laid out reading our books and stuff.
After that, we decided to go rinse off and relax at the cabin by watching a movie! Nothing too exciting, but it was nice! Later that night, we went to the HOT pools! Wow they are pretty warm during the summer! I never go when it's hot outside, but it felt really relaxing. We stayed there for a couple of hours and then went back to our cabin to watch another movie that I fell asleep too! Of course! :)

3 Weekends in a Row!

This past weekend I was in Bear Lake with the family. This is about the only picture I got, unfortunately. BUT it still is way cute! For some reason when I rotate the picture, it won't stay that way when I upload them to blogger. Sorry for the ones that are sideways. Mckenna just loves to help "Gamma" do EVERYTHING!! She thinks she is so big!

This is Jenni and I at the craft fair during Raspberry Days the week before! I had so much fun hanging out with her! We have some good times. Especially drinking that good homemade rootbeer! :)

Here is Mckenna eating a yummy hot dog at the craft fair as well! She LOVES hot dogs. I love when you tell her to smile and say "Cheese" to the camera... you get her saying cheese and no smile! Gotta Love it!

I was able to go to the Rodeo with Jackie the week before Raspberry days! It was okay this year, but they have done better. It was good to be able to be with Jackie! We have some good times together!

That is what I have been up to the past 3 weekends! I'm quite sad to say I don't know when I will return to Bear Lake for some more fun! Thanks everyone for the entertainment this summer! I cannot believe school is about to start AGAIN! Oh the good times we share!

Color Me Mine!

At the end of July for our enrichment activity we went to Color Me Mine at Riverwoods in Provo. It was so much fun to be with just girls. I think everyone had a really fun time. I made a chip/dip bowl. Mollie made a vase and the other girls made things such as: mug, coasters, and a dish to put your dirty spoon on while cooking kind-of-a-thing. If you ever have the urge to do something creative and artsy go to Color Me Mine. It's a lot of fun! Sorry I don't have any pictures of this event yet because I left my camera at my sister's. Pictures coming soon!

"Ghost Ride Da Whip"

Okay so last week, July 24th to be exact, me and a bunch of my friends decided to do this video called "Ghost Ride" I have never heard anything about it, knowing me. We went in my friend Ryan's truck to the UVU parking lot across the street from where we live to film it. Check out my friends Russ and Selena's Blog to see a video of what we did. It's not the best quality, but it works. :)
Well, here it is folks, my first blogger award, I would like to thank everyone who made this possible!

This Prestigious award was given to me by my best friend Chris Clark. His blog is awesome and I am so grateful to have such an amazing friend like Chris in my life. It made my day to know that he chose me!

So, there are rules to this award.
1. Post the logo on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who nominated you.
3. Nominate 7 other people for this award and add links to their blog.
4. Leave a message for the people that you nominated!

Well there are a lot of people out there who deserve this award that I know. I do not have any certain order as well. I would say Chris again, but he already received this award.

I would have to say my sister Jackie Sealy! Congratulations! You just received your first blogger award! Jackie is one of my very best friends and I am glad she keeps her blog updated so I can see her cute little family.

I would have to say my other sister, Kendra Hansen too! She's very important in my life as well. I don't know what I would do if she didn't live close to me here in Orem. I have so much fun with her! Congrats! I love the fun stuff you do with your blog when you get on that is! :)

Next, I pick Amber Parry. Every time she puts up new things of her cute little kids, it makes me miss last summer so much! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your kids' life last summer. What a fun job that was! I love the videos she has as well! THEY ARE TOO CUTE! Congrats for having such a cute blog. :)

Camping in June

A bunch of us just being crazy.

Mollie loves to entertain! :) Maybe that's where I got it from.

We found some really cool stuff to make our fire look like this! All it took was taking a picture! :)

This is where Mollie and I slept that night! Believe me- I will never sleep under the stars unless on a trampoline. Haha

Me and the guys! our other roommates weren't there yet.

Mollie posing for I don't know what.

Me and my crazy eyes with Mollie. It was pretty dark out there.

I know this was a while ago, but it is something to blog about. I went camping the end of June with a group of people. I'll just tell you that my kind of camping is sleeping in a hotel. :) I am not much of a camper, BUT one night is great! I just like to be clean and not have dirt all over me. We went up Provo canyon and went up Vivian park way far up and ended up camping the "rough" way. There was a little park below the place where we camped and we played with a football and a frisbee. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs! Then we decided to play a little sherades (spelling?) around the campfire which turned out to be a lot of fun. These are just a few silly pictures from the camp out. What crazy clean fun we had!

Batman -The Dark Knight

Ok can I just say what an amazing movie from the beginning to the end?! I would totally pick a comedy/romance movie over any other genre. BUT I really do enjoy action movies. This movie kept me intense the whole way through. I highly recommend you go and see this one. So our night started out pretty good. I never did see the first one, Batman Begins until last night. I watched that one before we left to go see the second one. Mollie and I thought Ryan, who got us the tickets, got tickets for 8:30 at THANKSGIVING POINT, right!? Well he tells us it's at 10 so we get to thanksgiving point about 9:30 with all the rest of the group. He bought the tickets online so he had to type in his confirmation number in order to get them. It wasn't working. He then looked at his paper one more time and he said "Oh no, the city says Salt Lake City at the Gatewy" By this time it was 20-25 til. We were all dying, but laughing. Let's just say we made it JUST in time and thank you for reserved seating!!! :) GO SEE IT!!!!

I'm going to really miss him!

The last week in June I was able to get off work and go down to Arizona and spend some time with Chris. Mollie, Chris and I all drove down to Arizona to take Chris back home and make a trip out of it. I had such a fun time! We went with some people to the Lava Tubes that are in Flagstaff. It was really neat! We didn't go all the way, but as far as we went was cool! We went to a movie one night also. I just can't believe that is the last time I will see him until he gets back from his mission. It's killing me! He is such a great friend to me. I feel like I can tell him anything! He is going to be greatly missed by me! THIS will be one of the hardest things for me to deal with right now. If he wasn't such a great friend it wouldn't be so hard. But what he is going to do is the best thing for him right now! Thanks for everything CHRIS!

Chris taking his turn driving us to Arizona.

This is us inside the lava tubes. Can't see much behind us because it's really dark.

Saying our goodbyes. :(
