Andy Warhol Style

If that's what you call it. I am working on my assignment for digital imaging and we were told to make some photos "Andy Style". So here are just a few that I have been messing around with. I hope I am on the right track. So tell me what you think!

Life is...

.....like a book: what matters is how good it is, not how long it is. This was today's fortune on my friend's Orkut. I thought it was a pretty good one. Never heard it before, but maybe you have. Something good to think about.

Do you remember....

when I made my list of 20 things I want to do while I am 20? Well here they are again. I am mostly doing this to remind myself so it doesn't look like I just posted them to have a post. It was a good idea to review these for myself:

1. Laugh a lot-I don't think I go a day without doing this. :)
2. Take a chance even if it doesn't come out successful. -Nothing yet.
3. Go on a trip out of state with friends. -Did it! CA
4. Feel more confident about myself. -Needs some paying attention to.
5. Eat healthier -mmmm so so.
6. Make the best out of any bad situation -I think I'm pretty good at doing that at the most part.
7. Make some new friends, but keep the old too of course!-a few so far. :)
8. Take the time and read a few books. -uhumm yes I DO need to make time for this. :[
9. Create for myself -maybe when school is out I'll have time?
10. Turn more can'ts into cans -Yeah.......
11. Turn dreams into reality known as plans -hmmmm
12. Love and appreciate school -I tell this to myself EVERYDAY. AND it changes everyday too.
13. Learn a new hobby -Book Binding! Anyone have tips for this?
14. Remind all the people I love how much I appreciate them in my life. -I've been pretty good with this one -so I think.
15. Spend more time outdoors and enjoy it! -believe me, as soon as it gets warmer I will!
16. Help someone in need -Doing it!! :)
17. Remember "that Moment" and cherish it -I've had some of these already and I do cherish them every day.
18. Do something exotic, still trying to figure out what that might be. (my hair?) -yep -still.
19. RELAX and take time for myself and forget the world for a bit. -Relax? What does that mean?
20. Write thank you notes. -Need to be better.

I thought that it would be cool if I took pictures of bubbles. Obviously I didn't take the one of me, but I got this cool one of my rommate! I thought that it was cool and that I would share it with you. What a fun day/night that was to be outside!

Panorama

In my digital imaging class we learned how to make panoramas with as many photos as we want. Just with a few clicks of the mouse and it does it for you! No joke either! TOO EASY!!! If I can do it-so can you! Here's one of the panoramas I did today. This is 5 photos put together. I couldn't do anymore b/c my teacher kicked us all out an hour early because he was afraid the weather was going to be bad for us on the way home. He loves us. Gotta love a teacher like that. :)

The Latest

I thought I would share with you my latest layouts that I have made for our scrapbook critiques at work. :)

The challenge with this layout was to use the American Crafts cardstock colors: Robin's Egg, Ash, Sunflower, and white. I enjoyed working with these colors. I had to explain to "the group" why I chose the title "Love More." So I thought I would share it with you as well. Sometimes I have to remind myself to love more of: life, the little things each day brings, the crazy situations that go on. I don't know if I'm making sense to you, but I hope I am.

The challenge with this layout was to scrapbook about ourselves. I haven't done that in quite some time I would have to say. I won't lie, I actually enjoyed this challenge. Maybe it's because I turned 20? :)

Good ol' Gilmore Girls

My roommate has all 7 seasons of the Gilmore Girls. I thought I would "spice" up my so-called t.v. watching up a bit by watching some Gilmore Girls. I did not think I would get much into it, but I sure fooled myself. It sure is a good, clean fun t.v. series I would have to say. If you have not seen any episodes of the Gilmore Girls, I recommend that you start with season one and watch all of them. I am currently on season three and LOVE IT!

You say I say....

...bowling. What an original form of entertainment. I invited the most random people to go bowling. Meaning that every person I invited only knew me but did not know each other. It was quite fun. Never done that before. I went bowling a week ago but I am finally getting around to posting this. I have so much to blog about, but I never have time to blog and when I do, I just want to sit and relax. Sorry, back to bowling. It was a lot of fun! I guess there really isn't much to say about bowling. Bowling is bowling, right? We played a little pool before hand while we waited. Oh yeah! AND I had to do some photo boothing. :) I made that my tradition now every time I go bowling at fat cats since they have a photo booth. And that's about it!

Check it out.....

I'm blogging 2 posts in one day. What a shocker. I just thought that while I sit here being a couch potato I would update you on what I did last Saturday for Valentine's day. My wonderful roommate Holly and I decided to make homemade sugar cookies for our friends we love. They turned out AMAZING!!! I actually think it was my first attempt to make sugar cookies from scratch. D-lish. I don't think I'll ever turn back.

I can feel it in the air!

Okay, so I woke up this morning and did the usual. Wake up, shower, get ready for work, right? As I was driving off to work I reminded myself why I love this time of the year! I know you might think it is all gloomy, cold, and depressing, but here I am trying to think of the good side of it. The sun was out! It was shinin' bright! (one of my isms as some of you may know) The snow is starting to melt. The birds are even singing. The grass is starting to show some potential green, but not much. BUT enough to know that Spring is on its way. I love when this happens and just the smell Spring brings... ahhh. (sigh) I hope you guys also see what's coming and love every minute of it as much as I do. Appreciate it! Cherish it while it's here! Oh and if you don't believe me, I'll take pictures to prove to you there is potential!
