You say I say....

...bowling. What an original form of entertainment. I invited the most random people to go bowling. Meaning that every person I invited only knew me but did not know each other. It was quite fun. Never done that before. I went bowling a week ago but I am finally getting around to posting this. I have so much to blog about, but I never have time to blog and when I do, I just want to sit and relax. Sorry, back to bowling. It was a lot of fun! I guess there really isn't much to say about bowling. Bowling is bowling, right? We played a little pool before hand while we waited. Oh yeah! AND I had to do some photo boothing. :) I made that my tradition now every time I go bowling at fat cats since they have a photo booth. And that's about it!

I'm blogging 2 posts in one day. What a shocker. I just thought that while I sit here being a couch potato I would update you on what I did last Saturday for Valentine's day. My wonderful roommate Holly and I decided to make homemade sugar cookies for our friends we love. They turned out AMAZING!!! I actually think it was my first attempt to make sugar cookies from scratch. D-lish. I don't think I'll ever turn back.

I can feel it in the air!

Okay, so I woke up this morning and did the usual. Wake up, shower, get ready for work, right? As I was driving off to work I reminded myself why I love this time of the year! I know you might think it is all gloomy, cold, and depressing, but here I am trying to think of the good side of it. The sun was out! It was shinin' bright! (one of my isms as some of you may know) The snow is starting to melt. The birds are even singing. The grass is starting to show some potential green, but not much. BUT enough to know that Spring is on its way. I love when this happens and just the smell Spring brings... ahhh. (sigh) I hope you guys also see what's coming and love every minute of it as much as I do. Appreciate it! Cherish it while it's here! Oh and if you don't believe me, I'll take pictures to prove to you there is potential!

Adobe Photoshop

This past week in my Digital Imaging class, we are learning how to edit photos and all that fun jazz. I didn't really know my way around photoshop very much and I'm starting to get it all figured out. These photos demonstrate some of the things that I have done with photoshop. I attached the "before" ones so you can see a difference. Sorry that the photoshop ones are smaller.

Wow did we have a fun time on photo booth Sunday night. I took Mckenna back with me to my apartment to get away for a bit. She had so much fun making faces. After every picture we would take she would say "again" or "let's try a new one." I love how fun she is getting and wish I could be around my cute, little niece more often. What a fun age she is!

Obession Confession

I don't think I have ever told anyone about my little obsession with notebooks, journals, books, etc. I think the only person that knows about this confession is my roommate who has to hear me talk about how much I love notebooks and see all of them. See here's the problem, I want to make a notebook or journal but I have this thing where I want to document only one thing in it and make a new one. Which that does not make any sense. But hey! It's a lot of fun. I will someday get through one of them. I recently made a new journal "My Travel Log" and started documenting everything whenever I go on a vacation. I have a scripture journal, an everyday journal, 2 at work one for notes and one for inspiration, and then a few only for special events. What is my problem!? I just want to keep making new ones every time I see a cool new way to make one. (as soon as I gather all of the books together, I will take a picture for you all)

My 100th post!

This will be my 100th post! Yipee! I never thought this would happen! Answer me this, do you guys like getting comments? Because I sure do! I feel like there's no point of blogging anymore because I don't think anyone is even looking at my blog. So I think this might be my last blog UNLESS you read this and make a comment. I would LOVE to hear from you. I KNOW there are a lot of you out there who look at my blog because I can see that, but you're not leaving a comment. Don't be scared or intimidated by me. I'm not scary. I just feel like there is no point of blogging if no one comments. This will be so sad if I don't get that many posts. lol So tell me what you think of comments... California Trip With the Girls

Wow! This trip has been a lot of fun so far with Paige, Alisha, and Nichole. We came down to California to go to the CHA show and check out all the cool stuff. We also decided to make it a bit fun as well. We left Saturday morning, stopped in St. George for a yummy juice IN-N-OUT burger, and then Vegas for the night! We did the whole walk-down-the-strip-thing. It was a lot of fun! And then we left early this morning to get to the show on time so we could see Paris Hilton in which we did. Alisha and Paige were RIGHT THERE! Yes, that's right. They were right there in the front in order to get this awesome footage. Let me remind you that there was no zooming in to get this pictures. These pictures were taken by Alisha.

I just celebrated my 20th birthday. Since my birthday was on sunday, a bunch of my friends and I went to Skybox at the Gateway. Lucky enough the jazz were playing that night. I got to spend it with Kendra and Shean. They made my birthday so special. Thanks a bunch you guys! We went to the movie, Bedtime Stories on saturday and then we played Clue, ate cake, and opened gifts. Thanks so much everyone for making my birthday special! -Peace
