(Notice I put links to awesome places throughout this post.)
Now you know why it has taken me so long to make this post. There are 38 photos to be exact in this post. I had to get them from two different cameras, do a little editing and organize them. This is a big deal. Okay here we go! This is Spark:
Nichole on our way up to registration. We couldn't wait! By the way, Nichole has started a boutique in Pleasant Grove called Patina Market. It's on Main Street in Pleasant Grove. Go check it out and tell me what you think!
Awesome center pieces in the main gathering area.
Yummy candy you could grab whenever. (my fav. was the peachies on the far right. See them?!)
Decorations were great! So inspiring. Just what I needed.
These next 8 pictures are from a few of the workshops we did on Friday.
This first picture we made those white silk flowers that you see in the photo.
Notice they are using American Crafts embossing heat gun known as Zap!. It's even pink for those of you who are in love with pink. It works wonders!
This scrap of ribbon and fabric was from when we made our fabric cuffs. Way too many possibilities.
Sassafras was there to demonstrate how to make a cute mini album.
Once again candy. Talk about too much sugar! BUT isn't it displayed so cute? I thought so.
Nichole and me on the train ride that Friday night.
Someone very talented was selling these headbands and necklaces. Wait, everyone there was so talented.
These box of goodies are just a few of what we got. We sure did get spoiled.
Jewelry making......
They had neat signs all over like this one.
Cute Nichole.
And another cute friend, Nicole we met. We were so lucky to meet her. She is the owner of Lime Ricki swimsuits! Go check them out here! I'm definitely buying my next swimming suit from here.
Our lunch for Saturday by Dear Lizzie. So yummy! The next thing I need to do is go up to their cute boutique. My next adventure.
In our photography workshop they handed out these cool lenses where we could focus through them. Love it!
I love the imperfections of photos like this one. It makes it unique and interesting to look at wouldn't you have to say?
Just a few photos of me for those of you who have been wanting to see me with my new dark hair.
My black heels. They make me feel like a pretty girl. :)
Love this. Nichole is the best model for photos ever! You rock!
Our other workshop where we made corsage tees like Liz showed on Studio 5 awhile back.
Some of the fabrics and ribbons that we could use on our tees.
I got a shot of cute Liz.
My t-shirt that I did. It's not completely finished like everything else. That is why you don't see any of my things because I didn't get to finish any of them. :)
Layouts that were inspired by our corsage tee instructor.
And as we walked out of Spark Friday and Saturday night, we saw this:
I loved every bit of this! I got to meet new friends, learn new techniques, getaway from my other responsibilities for a weekend and just have fun and be myself! If you enjoyed looking at Spark then you would enjoy GOING to spark next year.... with me! :)
